Orthodox Volunteer Corp
Harry Parks is a recent graduate of Fordham University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in International Studies with minors in Orthodox Christian Studies and Arabic. Informed by his academic engagement with issues of social justice at Fordham and his spiritual, academic, and professional involvement with the Orthodox Church, Harry applied and was accepted into the first-Boston based cohort of the Orthodox Volunteer Corps (OVC). OVC is a pan-Orthodox national program where young adults commit themselves to a year of service while living in community with each other and their host city. In partnership with OVC, Harry is eager to join the MLRI team as its first OVC fellowship intern. He is looking forward to supporting the Institute’s commitment to robust, accessible legal aid and community-centered legal advocacy.
