Miranda Van Mooy graduated from Connecticut College in May 2024 with a B.A. in government, a minor in computer science, and a certificate in community action and public policy. Her undergraduate research focused on demystifying immigration through quantitative analysis of federal legislation. She first joined MLRI as a Language Access and Racial Equity Intern in 2023 before taking on the role of Fundraising and Development Associate in September 2024. Previously she worked at the Woods Hole Oceanographic Institution, on the Development Events team. Raised in Falmouth, Massachusetts, Miranda enjoys playing ultimate frisbee and reading at the beach.
