Sofia is a senior at Brandeis University, majoring in Applied Mathematics with minors in Legal Studies and Hispanic Studies. A native of New York City, she developed a passion for public service during her time as an Accounting Intern for an affordable housing real estate company. She has also worked in the nonprofit sector, serving as a Summer Associate at Denham Wolf Real Estate, where she contributed to data-driven strategies for New York City nonprofits. Most recently, she was part of the economic development team at WITNESS, supporting the growth of formerly incarcerated-owned businesses through network building. Sofia is thrilled to join the Immigration team and help to advance MLRI’s initiatives.
