Steve Sullivan graduated from Boston University with a degree in Journalism and History and has built a career meandering between politics and philanthropy, nonprofit communications and development, news editing and freelance speechwriting, mostly with organizations in and around his native Boston including The Boston Foundation, the Center for Effective Philanthropy, and uAspire. He is passionate about helping exceptional organizations share their stories and expand their capacity to increase their impact for people and communities in need, and loves being part of a team that is on fire in working to improve their community.

He currently lives in San Francisco and spends his free time playing and covering the sport of ultimate frisbee or moonlighting as a cocktail bartender.
