Maler Suresh is serving as an AmeriCorps Legal Advocate in MLRI’s Health Law unit. Prior to working at MLRI, she gained experience at MassHealth, as well as public health and legal aid organizations in her hometown of Buffalo, NY. These experiences have driven her passion for community advocacy and her commitment to improving access to equitable, affordable, and high-quality healthcare. She is particularly interested in reducing barriers to continuous care for those with complex or chronic healthcare needs. Maler graduated from Tufts University in May 2026 with a B.A. in Economics and Community Health.
