Born and raised in Boston’s immigrant and refugee communities, she is deeply passionate about building support systems and giving back to the communities that shaped her. She hopes to carry this drive into a future career in legal services. Sarah brings experience in refugee education, curriculum development, and community-based advocacy. Before joining MLRI, she served as an AmeriCorps Legal Advocate with Boston University School of Law’s Immigrants’ Rights and Human Trafficking Program, where she provided pro bono legal assistance to survivors of trafficking. She has also held internships in the U.S. Department of State, the Department of Health and Human Services, and the U.S. House of Representatives. Sarah graduated from the University of Pennsylvania in May 2024 with a B.A. in Political Science and Modern Middle Eastern Studies.
